I didn't just lose my health with the diagnosis, I lost a new job, our home, my car and a move abroad that I had been planning with military precision! As a single parent, the fear was all-consuming, the urgency to find the right treatment felt overwhelming, and the pressure to make the right decisions was relentless.

Suddenly, I felt like I had lost control; control of my body, my choices, my healing.

It was a terrifying, lonely and deeply isolating place!

It didn't take me long to realise there was so much that I just didn’t know, and how difficult it was to find clear, grounded information when I needed it most. I spent countless hours researching, trying to make sense of conflicting advice, sensational claims, and fragmented science, all while under immense emotional pressure. Instead of clarity, I found confusion.

That gap is why I created The Uncancered Collection.
